Deborah M. Long is the owner and founder of eye4content, a world-class writing company that caters to businesses large and small in need of web content and other promotional copywriting. With a Masters degree in Education from Columbia University and a Bachelors degree in Sociology from New York University, she has a keen sense of what needs to be communicated in a clear, concise manner that best conveys your message.
Having written for Fortune 500 companies during her 20+ year career, Deborah is savvy when it comes to marketing high-end products and services. Her client list includes Atlantic Aviation, ExxonMobil, ENRON, Chevron, Apache Corporation, Halliburton, Schlumberger, Bechtel Engineering, Shiley/Pfizer, M.D. Anderson Hospital, HP, BMC, Microchip Technologies, Viking Pump and Cyberonics, as well as individual consultants and professionals.
As President of the Society for Technical Communication(STC), Houston chapter in 2000-2001, Deborah led a 300-member constituency of writers and editors into a new millennium with the theme of "Communicating Outside of the Box." She continues to be active in the STC international organization, giving back to the community as a mentor to new writers and leader of a monthly networking group.
When not writing, which is rare, Deborah enjoys photography, travel, museums and keeping up with books to read and movies to see. Her two daughters live on the West coast, with successful careers of their own in Finance and Psychology, respectively.
